Puja Banerjee Uninstalls The Chinese App TikTok; Nakuul Mehta Mocks The PATRIOTIC Act
Ishaqbaaz actor Nakuul Mehta is quite bold and vocal about things he feels aren't quite right or when he thinks something does not make sense. He will take to his social media handle and share his unapologetic views fearlessly. Well, that’s what has happened this time when he shared a tweet mocking people who are unfollowing the Chinese App TikTok to show their patriotism. With the ongoing violence between India and the Chinese troops at the border, many are sending across tributes and condolences for the martyred soldiers on their social media handle while there are some who are uninstalling Chinese apps including TikTok to show patriotism and this was a little much to digest for Nakuul.

His tweet read, “I'm installing Tik Tok, finally. So that.. I can UNINSTALL it and feel patriotic.” On the other hand, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev actress Puja Banerjee took to her Instagram story and shared a screenshot of her phone and stated that she has uninstalled the TikTok app from her phone as she captioned it as ‘Uninstalling TikTok.’ While several celebs in the past have spoken about uninstalling the app including Kamya Panjabi, the latest one to join the list is Karanvir Bohra who even shared an Instagram post and captioned it as, “Sending prayers and love to the martyred soul and their families. And now one by one I'm going to start disassociating with #madeinchina maal. Starting with @tiktok Thank you @indiatiktok for all the love you have shown me, but this is necessary. Jai hind.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Army has been combating the Chinese Army along the areas of Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army lost 20 soldiers in Galwan Valley and the entire country is mourning their death.  Shehnaaz Gill, Rashami Desai, Arjun Bijlani, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and others sent across tributes and condolences for the martyred soldiers via social media.
